Watering and Feeding
The same rules do apply when feeding and watering the plants during the flowering stage as the vegetation stage. Over feeding the plants can result in harm to the plants and a decrease in potency for the buds as well as over watering them can result in their death from drowning. Make sure that the directions are properly followed on the label when feeding the plants. Some directions say to only feed the plant nutrients every other watering cycle while other directions suggest feeding very small amounts every water cycle.
Choose which feeding method will benefit you as the grower the most and make sure to watch for signs of nutrient burn and drooping leaves. These signs will be an obvious indicator that there may be a problem with the feeding cycle and that a change is needed. Keep a constant high on the humidity and temperature of the grow area as well and make sure that there is fresh air exchange. This can be done by simple having the fans blow air around the plants in the flowering stage instead of directly on them.
When handling the plant and examining the growing buds make sure that your hands are washed thoroughly. Not doing so can result in microorganisms being transferred to your plant and reducing the bud’s growing potential and potency. Make surethat shoes and clothing that were exposed to other pests while outdoors have also been removed before handling the plants as well.
