Identifying Males
Between the 7 and 14 days of the early flowering stage male plants will begin to show signs of pollen sacks at each node. The nodes are the points where the branches meet the stem and there are quite a few throughout the entire stock of both male and female marijuana plants. Underneath each pistil should consist of one to two (or more) pollen sacks that are commonly referred to as ‘balls’ because they are male marijuana plants. These pollen sacks are capable of pollinating your female plants so
remove them and keep them somewhere away from the females or dispose of them immediately.
