Fans
Fans are very important when growing marijuana indoors because they help to regulate the temperature around the plants, reduce heat, and help to prevent possible house fires. Many experienced growers have their own recommendations of which type of fans to use but preferably go with something that can stand as tall as the plants from the floor and that can rotate. Rather than having a large fan pointing in one direction blowing air constantly, try your best to have the air circulated evenly throughout the grow room or area. This is easier to attempt with smaller locations such as closets and pantries but larger rooms such as basements and garages are harder to get the air to perfectly circulate. This can be solved however by placing fans of the same equivalency in each corner of the room or at opposite ends both in a rotating fashion.
Fans can be found and purchased at any major retailer store and can be found cheap online as well. Using fans that are already in the household that are used during the spring and summer months is okay too but be sure to wipe dust and other debris from the fans as this can have a detrimental effect on the plants if it get onto them. Experienced growers have also turned to using dehumidifiers in place of fans as well to remove and exchange the air throughout the grow room and/or area and to help regulate the temperature and heat. This is an optional choice but a good choice.
